Augmented Reality Game: Marriage Counseling
An augmented-reality game (which combines reality with virtual reality) created by Georgia Tech researchers pits two combatants against each other in heated combat. The difference is that the combatants are a married couple engaged in a vicious argument. The object of the game, called AR Facade, is to somehow get the couple to patch things up. "The disgruntled couple argues, as usual, over vacations, home decor, jobs and even wine selection. But then, after a shift in tactics by the gamer, they launch into an emotional, loud and occasionally profane fight." The VR goggles and game are powered by a laptop worn as a BACKPACK.
