Finally -- A Reason to Buy HD-DVD or Blu-Ray

Like many people, I have a high-def TV, get some HD cable programming, but haven't yet bought an HD-DVD or Blu-ray player. The main reason is that there hasn't been a compelling enough reason to shell out the big bucks for a player. All that changes July 31, however, when Amazon.com starts selling the movie "300" in both HD-DVD and Blu-ray formats for $23.95. (The HD-DVD version also comes with a standard DVD version as well.) Nothing looks better in hi-def than CGI BLOOD SPLATTERING.
