So You Want To Be a Cell Phone Stalker

Camera phones contain all the necessary ingredients for completely invasive stalking: a microphone, camera, personal data on the user, location information, a chat and call history -- you name it. And victims carry them everywhere they go. All that's missing is the software that lets stalkers take control. This new software, called snoopware, does just that. Snoopware -- both legal and illegal -- enables stalkers to secretly seize control of a phone's electronics to listen, watch and spy on their victims. Welcome to the creepy new world of CELL PHONE STALKING. UPDATE: This story has been Slashdotted.

Hey Mike! And this is *so* much easier than many might think to accomplish! We just wrote up perhaps the most insidious (in part because it's so available) program out there, Flexispy, which is available to anyone to install on any Blackberry, Nokia 60, or Windows Mobile phone! And you only need to have the phone in your possession for a few minutes to do it!

We are actually openly soliciting someone to test it out over on The Internet Patrol, and to post their results.
