Best Buy’s best Black Friday deals are called Doorbuster Specials. They're so good the company is requiring tickets, issued in advance, to purchase. They're trying to avoid a stampede of the kind that killed a Walmart employee last year.

Wow, I think that is a fantastically good idea. I remember standing in line at BB once on Black Friday and as my turn came to get in, the crowd from the parking lot that had not bothered to stand in line, rushed the doors to get in. Consequently it was all gone when I got there. My one and only time of going to a doorbuster sale. Every store should do this.
