'30 Rock' Cisco product placement lasts a minute!
I know they've got to pay the bills, but this is ridiculous. "30 Rock" integrated a Cisco videoconferencing product that was also advertised in commercial breaks during the show that parroted the company's slogan and bullet-point items from the product's spec sheet. The pandering took up a full minute of a show that's, what, 22 minutes long? (Props)

That's because they're MAKING FUN of the fact that the network requires them to do product placements! Like the jokes they made about Snapple in an earlier season. And the way that Liz is always complaining about Jack making her write sketches about GE microwaves.
Just like the late night "talk shows" have become nothing more than shills for latest TV show / movie / CD / play / etc. so too will our "free TV" entertainment soon be nothing more than one continuous commercial.
The fact they're making fun of it empowers the advertising effect even more. It's embarrassing to watch.
