Fake Chinese MacBooks feature plastic unibody construction.
Shameless design thieves in China have copied the Apple MacBook Air, right down to the unibody construction -- but not without dubious "improvements." Instead of being carved from a single slab of aluminum, the "FakeBook Air" is plastic. The Apple logo on the lid lights up just like the real thing. But instead of glowing a sophisticated white, it lights up with cheesy, garish colors. Inside, it's all just generic PC innards. (Props to Cult of Mac)

i like china stuff, but mostly i choose "no name" instead of "fakes"
shameless yes, but I like the look and would not mind having one if it runs Windows 7 okay.
It's a shame they used the apple symbol on the laptop, thus preventing it from getting marketed in the US. How about a sybmol of another fruit, or maybe Saturn with rings that change color. Nevertheless this laptop looks cool.
