Hong Kong Police Leak Info On Complaints
A database packed with detailed information on some 20,000 people who have complained about the police since 1996 in Hong Kong has been LEAKED on the Internet. Details include the names, addresses and Hong Kong identity card numbers of those who complained. Of course, a police representative apologized. But was the information deliberately leaked out of revenge on the public? To reduce future complaints? An accident? Investigators don't know yet. In fact, they don't even know how long the data has beeen posted on the Internet. The Hong Kong police are notorious for human rights abuses.
