Latest Job Taken By Robots: Tour Guide
A red robot called Cicerobot has been hired as a TOUR GUIDE inside the Agrigento archaeology museum in Palermo, Italy. The robot has wheels, a keyboard, a monitor, video camera and sensors that help it avoid crashing into priceless artifacts. Cicerobot, which begins work next month, can also conduct "virtual tours" for people logging in remotely over the web.
