Why the U.S. Allows Poison Food From China
A stunning piece in The Washington Post today explains why the U.S. doesn't stop poison and tainted food imported from China. The short answer? America "kowtows" to China -- our government doesn't want to anger them -- because the American food industry wants to maximize sales to China. The FDA, which both "regulates" the domestic food industry and also inspects incoming food, routinely takes the side of agribusiness over public health. So the FDA lets China POISON AMERICANS so giant American food companies can make more money selling to China. The roster of tainted foods is incredible:
Dried apples preserved with a cancer-causing chemical. Frozen catfish laden with banned antibiotics. Scallops and sardines coated with putrefying bacteria. Mushrooms laced with illegal pesticides... Juices and fruits rejected as "filthy." Prunes tinted with chemical dyes not approved for human consumption. Frozen breaded shrimp preserved with nitrofuran, an antibacterial that can cause cancer. Swordfish rejected as "poisonous"...These were among the 107 food imports from China the Food and Drug Administration detained at U.S. ports just last month." Yet inspectors checked just one percent of incoming food from China. And they when do catch poisoned food, there's no penalty for China or the producers, so it NEVER STOPS.

Don't forget about the grain that's caused problems with pet food and other animal feed. The only use of the chemical involved is to fool the tests into thinking that there is more protein in grains so they can be sold for a higher price.
In Panama, they've had two separate cases of enormous shipments to there from China of poison toothpaste.

we need to boycott these places our selves.i try not to buy nothing from that country.you can't expect the goverment to do much for you when their is lots of money and buisness involved...we need to get smart and keep our heads out from under the covers.where you AMERICA ?? stand up.
It's bizarre to me that we're importing all this food. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the foods we're importing, are the very same kinds of foods we're exporting. What's the point of wasting all that energy shipping food all over the globe -- all the while putting ourselves at risk from unscrupulous, unregulated producers with a history of recklessness?
The communists encourage people to sell blood and human organs too. Poisonous food has been exported not only to animals but also to human beings!

What's even sad is that the China communist party was found to be involved in poaching human organs from the investigations done by some former Canadian congressman.
Bah, life is cheap in China. Of cheap things it is the cheapest. There is so much of it what else can be expected? This cheapness is their biggest and most dangerous export.

There's no news here. Governments look after the giant corporations. People and their health are the least of their concerns!If the general public knew how much their food was being poisoned by these corporations, they would be appalled and disgusted and would boycott these greedy bastards!People don't even realize that most of the food they eat has been "Genetically Modified"!Chocolate is not chocolate anymore; icecream is not icecream anymore; bread is not bread anymore...etc!
