Security Expert Denied Entry Into U.S.
German CEO and head of research at Sabre Security, Thomas Dullien (a.k.a. Halvar Flake), blogs that he was DENIED ENTRY INTO THE U.S. for 1) carrying materials related to hacking; and 2) saying he planned to speak about security and hacking as a private citizen, rather than as a company representative on an H1B Visa. Dullien was scheduled to present at the annual Black Hat security conference. The irony is that Dullien travels to the U.S. frequently to train U.S. government officials at the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security!
