University of Michigan and University of Texas-Austin researchers have found that video and PC GAMING COMES AT THE EXPENSE OF READING AND HOMEWORK. They found that "adolescent gamers spent 30 percent less time reading and 34 percent less time doing homework" than their non-gaming counterparts."
