Nigerian government demands apology from Sony

The Nigerian government has demanded an apology from Sony for making a humorous reference to Nigerian scams. In the ad, an actor says, "You can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Otherwise I'd be a Nigerian millionaire by now." A spokesman for the Nigerian government said in response: "Nigeria also demands an unconditional apology from Sony Corporation for this deliberate negative campaign against the country’s image and reputation."

How about the Nigerian government apologize for all the fraud that comes out of their country and infects us here in the U.S? The fraud is so bad that the State Department has a pdf file on their website just to warn Americans about Nigerian scams. Here's the link - www.state.gov/www/regions/africa/naffpub.pdf

In addition to demanding an apology, the Nigerian government offered Sony a share of $50 million USD if they would just provide all their banking information
