I searched Google News for a research story today, and specified "MIT OR Harvard OR UCLA OR CalTech." Google News couldn't believe that I would search for my alma mater, UCLA, and asked if I meant Yale instead. (No, Google, I meant UCLA.)
Remember those intelligence tests that ask questions like: what does not belong (apple, pear, orange, cow)? So, what does not belong (MIT, Harvard, CalTech, UCLA)? Maybe the reality is there is an ALGORITHM that has a anti-Bruin bias.
Comments:
Google probably has an alliance with the LA Times. Surprised it didn't ask you if you meant USC.
